Prabodhan Goregaon’s 37th anniversary was celebrated in a grand way, an evening before gudipadwa, i.e. on 26th March 2009, Thursday, on the Kridabhavan ground. Padmashree Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar presented a musical show “Bhavsargam” consisting of various harmonious songs.  Singer Randha Mangeshkar  also presented a few selected songs which left the audiences mesmerized.  All the audiences hugely applauded the musical show which lasted for 3 hours.
Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar was awarded the honour of padmashree title for his noteworthy contribution in the field of music. Keeping this in mind, Prabodhan Goregaon’s founder, shiv-sena leader and MLA , Shri Subhash Desai, felicitated Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar with a Shawl, Coconut and a bouquet of flowers. Radha Mangeshkar was also felicitated by Mr. Subhash Desai.
Prabodhan Goregaon run, Sou Meenatai Thackeray Blood Bank will complete its five successful years in November 2009. In these five years, Prabodhan’s Blood Bank has emerged to be successful in the field of medicine and health, not only in Mumbai but also in Maharashtra.  In these five years, the medical authorities and the technicians who have greatly contributed in the success of blood bank, were also felicitated on the occasion of 37th anniversary of prabodhan  goregaon. Blood bank’s main medical authority Dr. Kishor Jha, Technical Supervisor Pratibha Bari, Assistant Supervisor kanan Pandya, Lab  Technician Ravindra Kher and nurse Abhilasha Gayakwad were the felicitated members. All the work undertaken by Prabodhan Blood Bank was responsibly executed and the main contributors in the successful journey of Prabodhan Blood Bank are senior members Mr. Mahadev and Mr. Khanolkar, were also felicitated by Shri Subhash Desai on this memorable occasion.
Prabodhan Goregaon’s Newly designed and redeveloped website”www.prabodhan.org” was also inaugurated on the same day by Mr. Subhash Desai.  Mrs. Anagha Acharya, the web designer was also felicitated by Shri Subhash Desai, for her highest level of work in the field of web technology.
