About Prabodhan Joggers Park - Tennis Academy

Prabodhan Joggers Park and Tennis Academy was inaugurated on 21st May,1999 by the hands of Shivsena Leader Hon. Shri. Uddhav Thackerey.
In a Mhada area in Siddharth Nagar, Road no. 17, near a drainage, which almost looked lifeless, could be converted into a well developed Joggers Park fully equipped with modern facilities, if this would have been mentioned earlier, it would have seemed to be an impossible task, but Prabodhan has materialized this vision. This was the brain child of Shri Subhash Desai. Along with Mhada Member Shri. Vijay Nadkarni, Shri. Subhash Desai strived endlessly to give life to this vision, of course this venture was backed by many of their supporters. The authorities of Mhada, provided complete control over this area for it's development into a good infrastructure and prabodhan  also accepted this responsibility keeping in mind the emotions of Mhada Authorities towards this developmental project and mainly the need of this project for Goregaon residents.  This area has been fully utilized for Eco-friendly Jogging Track and also a well-equipped, scientifically developed Tennis Academy. This has been developed in order to provide goregaonn residents a unique facility of acquiring tennis training and be capable of contributing their part in the field of sports.
The unique sculpture of Shivaji Maharaj at the entrance of the park instills a different look to thee park. Every inch space of this area has been efficiently and effectively utilized for productivee purposes.  The inner Area has been used as tennis lawn, which is surrounded by a well designed jogging track. This entire park has been surrounded by plants and trees, to provide mental pleasure to the visitors at the jogger’s park. The ground has been surrounded on four sides by seating arrangements and few small building structures.
Hygine and bathroom facilities are facilitated in the same structure. A well organised Chess Academy and Yogabhyas Center is also serving for the betterment of people.
More and more people are utilizing the facilities offered at this edifice for the healthy physical and psychological development of masses. We wish to give more and more facilities in this venture giving us success in our basic objective of providing unique and quality services to society at nominal cost or free of cost.
