Prabodhan Goregaon has always abided by its basic principles of serving the society in nurturing Kala-Krida (Art-sports) as well as Spreading Dnyaan (Knowledge) through Samaaj Seva (Social Welfare). All activities are undertaken to enhance the progress at cultural, health & fitness, academic and intellectual levels irrespective of any kind of differences in Religion, caste, creed and language.

Ever since the establishment of the trust in 1972, it’s been a very eventful and pleasurable journey. Keeping in mind the social interests and public welfare many ventures have been undertaken, and this includes the establishment of Prabodhan Kridabhavan (Sports Complex), Prabodhan Jogger’s Park, Ozone Swimming Pool and Activity Center, Sou. Meenataai Thackeray Blood Bank & Prabodhan Raktavahini (Mobile Blood Collection Van), Prabodhankar Thackeray Library and Medicine Bank. The widely spread and strongly knit network of Prabodhan’s social activists is even more commendable and this is what adds up to an organization’s Pride.

Prabodhan Kridabhavan , Prabodhan Jogger’s Park & Ozone swimming pool and activity centre were established keeping in mind that a healthy and fit lifestyle is the key to survival in the hectic schedules that most of us keep. Prabodhan has taken great care in designing the facilities offered at the health centre.

Sou. Meenatai Thackeray Blood Bank & Mobile Blood Collection Van were established to take care of emergency situations caused by under-treatment or inadequate treatment.

Prabodhan Medicine Bank is an extension of the health care services provided by prabodhan, which introduces medicines at affordable prices for the poor and the middle class who can neither beg nor afford to purchase very costly medicines. It also plans to reach out to old & poor lodged in homes with no one to cater to them and supply quality medicines for free.

Prabodhankar Thackeray Library was established in order to provide full fledged reading facilities to the masses by making available over 16,000 Books in Marathi, English and Hindi. It also provides study room facilities to students pursuing higher education in various fields by providing convenient study worth environment.

All projects undertaken by Prabodhan have materialized just because of the strong support provided by its honorable supporters and well-wishers. My team and I went on proceeding with varied kinds of projects and our supporters offered their encouragements consistently.

The Trust and its members have offered their effective support and this has resulted into the successful realization of various ventures initiated by it for public welfare. This is just the beginning , our eyes are set on its bright future, that will lead to even more happenings and social activities, that will set benchmarks for everyone to follow.

I would like to execute a few well planned projects intended for public welfare and this is possible only with everyone’s active support. Such activities may require the development of new set of young and dynamic social activists.
