Prabodhan Goregaon was established in 1972. Prabodhan Goregaon is a non-profit organization dedicated to enlightening the people and provide services for the Health Care and Welfare of the society at a nominal cost.
Prabodhan means Awareness through Education. Keeping in mind the social interests and public welfare many ventures have been undertaken , and this includes the establishment of Prabodhan Kridabhavan (Sports Complex), Prabodhan Jogger’s Park, Ozone Swimming Pool and Activity Center, Maasaheb Meenataai Thackeray Blood Bank & Prabodhan Raktavahini (Mobile Blood Collection Van), Prabodhankar Thakare Library and Medicine Bank.
Prabodhan Goregaon has always abided by its basic principle of serving the society in nurturing Art-sports as well as Spreading Knowledge through Social Welfare. All activities are undertaken to enhance the progress at cultural, health & fitness, academic and intellectual levels irrespective of any kind of differences in Religion, caste, creed and language.
Prabodhan is recognized as Landmark in field of Sports training.
Number of socio-cultural activities and events have been successfully organized by trust which has given us recognition of Event Organizers in People’s mind.

By implementing this project Prabodhan is saving in monetary terms Rs. 5 lack every year, but most important is BMC's i.e. Mumbai's invaluable 1 crore 30 lack ltr. water is being saved every year. We are sure that the path for water saving, paved by MLA Subhash Desai will certainly prove to be an inspiration for others. |

Due to this advanced technology now various blood components like platelets, plasma, packed cells etc. can be separated and the required components only can be used for blood transfusion. This is done entirely through a machine. |
