Prabodhan Goregaon has laid the foundation for Prabodhan’s Medicine Bank and this newly founded unit was inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of Gudipadwa, 27th March 2009, Friday. Well-known developer and a trusted personality of Tara Charitable Trust, Mr. Shekhar Dadarkar, inaugurated the Medicine Bank.

In Goregaon (w), Sidharthnagar, Road No. 17, Managal Society, Prabodhan Medicine Bank was inaugurated. This unit will provide completely free of cost medicine to the financially weak strata of the society. Also setting up a panel of doctors for providing treatment to them after proper verification will be made active.  All the applications provided by the sick and the needy will be filtered & verified, in order to avail them of this facility.

Any medicine purchased from Prabodhan Medicine Bank is subject to a discount of 5%.  For the needy people and for the people who are financially incapable of medical treatments and buying medicines, Prabodhan Medicine Bank offers medicine at a discounted rate of 15 to 20 % of the price.

This inaugural function was attended by Prabodhan Goregaon’s Founder, Shiv sena Leader and MLA Shri . Subhash Desai, Dr. Ullas Gaanu and also Prabodhan Goregaon’s committee members and advisory panel dignitaries.
